As the night fades into dawn

The sky begins to lighten up

A new day is about to be born

As the sun begins to erupt


Its rays spread across the sky

Painting it in hues of gold and red

The birds begin to chirp and fly

As the darkness is put to bed


The world is reborn with the light

As the sun climbs higher in the sky

The colors of the morning bright

Bringing life to everything nearby


The sun's warmth touches everything

From the smallest blade of grass

To the tallest mountain, it does bring

A new day that we cannot surpass


So let us embrace the sunrise

And all the new beginnings it brings

For it is a daily gift that never dies

A symbol of hope that makes our hearts sing

  MAHASHIVARATRI Mahashivratri is  one of the significant festivals of the Hindus. It is celebrated annually in India and Nepal, in honour of Lord Shiva. It is believed that  Shivratri  is celebrated as the day when Lord Shiva  saved the world from the poison that emerged from the ocean during Samudhra Manthan.
